Information is now available for domestic students interested in JCU’s 2025 intake for Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science, ahead of applications opening on 1 August 2024.
Study locations
- Medicine is now offered from first year in Cairns and Townsville. You can apply for a place to start in one location or either, in order of preference.
- Dentistry is offered in Cairns only.
- Veterinary Science is offered in Townsville only.
All three courses are delivered on-campus with some online learning.
Important dates
ALERT: Veterinary Science
Successful applicants must be:
- Ready to start face-to-face teaching in Townsville on 27 January 2025, which is one week after the deadline for accepting offers.
- Immune to or vaccinated against Q Fever by Week 4 of their first year, before they start practical studies involving animals or animal specimens.
