Our mission
Making a difference
The College of Arts, Society and Education (CASE) reflects, shapes and interrogates the social, economic, environmental and political factors that define northern Australia and the tropical Asia-Pacific – the ‘place’ that defines our teaching, learning, research and service. In addition to offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, we undertake research and deliver programs in partnership with industry and services who share our mission.
Our stories
Our research
Research making a difference
Our research is multi-, trans- and inter-disciplinary, bringing together Education, Social Work, and the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences to understand the key cultural, social, wellbeing, environmental and educational challenges facing our region. Through the prism of place, CASE fosters a spectrum of local and global research collaborations that produce meaningful research with direct impacts for people in northern Australia and beyond.
