Study introductory subjects within Accounting, Economics, Data Analysis, Management, Law and Marketing. The Diploma of Business [Pathway] provides a sample of the key areas of Business and Commerce, empowering you to explore the field and begin to build a versatile base of knowledge and skills.

Commence your university studies with a diploma that will equip you for further study in business, commerce and management. Successful completion of the one-year Diploma of Business [Pathway] qualification means you will be eligible to continue your studies with a Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Tourism, Hospitality and Events with JCU.
You will also meet the entry requirements necessary for JCU Bachelor’s degrees within other study areas. You will have built a foundation of employable skills, foundational knowledge and an understanding of key business strategies relevant to the industry.
Upon successful completion of the Diploma of Business [Pathway], you will receive credit towards a JCU Bachelor degree, meaning you can finish your degree sooner.

The Diploma of Business [Pathway] is a pathway option into JCU if you need further qualifications to meet the academic entry requirements for your preferred undergraduate course. It also provides an example of what university study will be like prior to enrolling in a full degree.
Some subjects completed as part of this diploma are eligible for credit towards a subsequent JCU undergraduate degree.

Courses are charged per year of full-time study. International course fees are reviewed annually and subject to change.
A Student Services and Amenities Fee is payable per subject up to a maximum amount per year.
Student Visa holders must have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of their Student Visa (except Norwegian, Swedish and Belgian citizens). Costs depend on the length of study and the number of dependants accompanying the student. For more information see Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).
