Rod joined the CTS in 2020 as a Project Engineer. He graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from James Cook University in 1997 and completed a research Masters Degree in 2004, also at JCU. Rod was a fitter and turner before attending university. Working in the solar water heating industry in product development and later as a consultant engineer, Rod has experience in applying industry standards for design safety and performance. At CTS, Rod’s role is to support the Senior Engineer in coordinating with clients to finalise test programme, supervise testing and preparation of test reports.
