Description

This tall shrub or small tree has furrowed shaggy bark, branchlets are angular and yellowish hence the common name. Phyllodes 9-24 cm long and up to 5 cm wide, there are 2-3 longitudinal veins which form indentations on the margin, these sharp teeth correspond with the extra-floral nectaries or glands at these points. Flowers pale yellow in heads, pods flat 6-8 cm long, about 8 mm wide.
