Description

This native tree, which has been planted in several places on campus, has opposite, compound leaves to 17 x 5 cm, leaflets 7-9 per leaf, veins not obvious on the lower surface which has a felty feel. Flowers arranged in panicles are about 12 mm diameter; 5 white petals and 5 stamens. Fruit is a woody capsule very rough on outside, opening by 5 valves, seeds winged.
