June 19 - Design Wind Loading Day
Come and find out about the latest amendments to AS/NZS1170.2 and AS4055. Topics covered include internal and external pressure, aerodynamic shape factors, cladding and dynamics. A copy of the AWES Wind Loading Handbook is provided as part of the registration fee.
June 20 - 21 - 22nd AWES Workshop
The theme of the 22nd AWES Workshop is “where next for Wind Engineering and Building Resilience”.
The 22nd AWES Workshop is a 2-day event, to be held on 20-21 June 2024 in Townsville, Queensland, Australia. Members and non-members of the AWES are welcome to attend and/or present paper(s) at AWES22 across all topics covering areas of Wind Engineering and Disaster mitigation.
Location
Both the Design Wind Loading Day and 22nd AWES Workshop will be held at James Cook University’s Townsville campus.
