About this event

This lecture will explore diverse meanings of what constitutes social justice within social work across diverse global contexts. Drawing on examples of research and practice over the past 25 years, it will trace the intersection of different philosophies of knowledge underpinning social justice ideals with varied cultural and political contexts.

Professor Jordan will seek to raise questions about what it means to ‘thread the needle of social justice and professional ethics’ and explore how interdisciplinary knowledge informs socially and ethically just work practice.

This event is in person or via zoom.
