JCU Startup OnRamp Pre-Accelerator Program

Bring your business idea to life and learn what it takes to form a successful startup

Delivered by our expert JCU Entrepreneurs-in-Residence this 13 week program will equip you with the know-how and connections to maximise your chances of becoming a successful startup founder.

In weekly face-to-face workshops, our presenters and guest speakers will take participants through startup basics, idea validation techniques, fundamental legal principles, customer acquisition strategies, the mechanics of investment, and pitch practices for the final pitch night, where participants will have the opportunity to present your idea to industry stakeholders, potential investors and peer startup founders.

Regular 1:1 coaching sessions with our JCU Entrepreneurs-in-Residence will keep future founders on track of their achievement goals and allow them to apply their learned knowledge to a specific business idea.

With the support of Advance Queensland, James Cook University is able to provide scholarships to both JCU and non-JCU affiliates to cover the entire cost of the program.
