History of the prize

This prize was founded in 1992 and is maintained by the Australian Society for Biochemistry & Molecular Biology. The prize is awarded to the student (or students) who, in the opinion of the committee, has demonstrated, at level 3, the best overall performance and ability in biochemistry subjects leading to a major in Biochemistry within the Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree.
