History of the prize
This prize was established in 2005 with a $25,000 donation from the College of Education (now incorporated in the College of Arts, Society & Education). The prize is awarded to the Bachelor of Education (Secondary) student who achieves the highest overall result in the English Curriculum Strand of ED3210/ED3209: Senior Secondary Curriculum 1 and 2, and an outstanding third-year professional experience report.
