Biomedicine Prize in Immunology

History of the prize

Founded in 2000 and maintained with donations from the Australian Society for Immunology and supplemented by the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. The prize is awarded to the student who is deemed to have achieved an outstanding year of performance and shown a strong interest and ability in level 3 in Immunology and related subjects within the degree of Bachelor of Medical laboratory Science or leading to a major in microbiology within the degree of Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences and is enrolled in a degree program at James Cook University in the following year.
