Gungu Day
27th October 2022
The JCU’s Turtle Health Research Centre, the Caraplace, held a public celebration of sea turtles event in October. Activities on Gungu Day included a free tour of the facility, and an opportunity to meet the many different groups and organisations within and outside of JCU that have cultural and conservation interest in sea turtles and the marine environment.
