Conjoint Lecturer | Masters level qualification. In the case of Medical staff – they would hold a MBBS or equivalent and specialist qualifications. | Undergraduate Teaching and assessment of students. | Conduct research evidenced by Peer Review publications. | Significant participation in University activities and committees. | Act as committee/professional body chair or secretary. |
Conjoint Senior Lecturer | PhD qualifications. In the case of Medical staff – they would hold a MBBS or equivalent and specialist qualifications. PhD, MD or equivalent research experience desirable. | Undergraduate teaching, assessment of students, course development and subject and course coordination. | Significant record of independent research evidenced by peer reviewed publications and success in attracting research funding. | Significant participation in University activities and committees. Reviewing and editing scholarly journals book and on-line fora. | Major contribution as a committee/professional body chair or secretary. |
