Everyone is welcome to attend JCU Virtual Open Day! You might be looking to study, or a parent, partner or friend of someone looking to study, or you might just want to check out our courses.
Yes, you will need to register to attend Virtual Open Day so we can send you the virtual event link and log in details. Register here.
You do not need to download any software to attend this event. However, internet is needed to access the platform. We also recommend allowing pop-ups in your internet browser so you can attend presentations and check out other features of the event without running into any issues.
Virtual Open Day can be accessed via any device. This includes a mobile, tablet and computer devices.
Yes! Similar to a physical event, at our Virtual Open Day you have the option to add documents and links to your virtual event bag which you can download directly to your device at the end of the event.
Yes, our current students can't wait to meet you and answer your questions. Ask about student life, accommodation, life in North Queensland, study and work schedules ... anything you like.
Yes! Our academics and staff will be behind each of the booths during the virtual event, ready to answer any questions you may have.
You will be able to take a virtual tour of your future room and download information about accommodation providers, room options, fees and more.
At JCU's Virtual Open Day you can access and download course information, visit virtual booths and live chat with academics and JCU advisors, network with current students, attend live presentations and explore our virtual campuses!

Yes, we would love to take you on an in-person campus tour of JCU Townsville or Cairns. You can book here.
Don't worry if you are unable to attend on the evening, the platform will still be able to be accessed until Thursday, 6 September 2024.
